Many people move into homes or purchase a home where a pet door or “doggie door” is installed. The idea is that pets are able to move in and outside of the house. Although it may seem like a good idea to have for animal lovers, if you have a child in the house, it may be a bad idea.

Although a full size adult would be unable to get in or out of a pet door, their size makes them perfect for children.
